reproduce below the text of the new art. 201 of the Highway Code, as amended by Law 120/2010:
" If the violation can not be immediately challenged the report, with detailed and accurate details of the violation and the statement of the reasons that made it impossible for the immediate context, must, within ninety days after the, the actual offender or be notified when this has not been identified, and the breach committed by the driver of a motor vehicle, equipped with the plate, one of the persons mentioned in art. 196, as obtained from public records at the time of the investigation. (... Omitted ...) If the actual offender or other parties responsible is identified after the commission of the violation, the notification may be made with the same within ninety days from the date that it results from public records or in its national vehicle the heading of the vehicle and other interested parties or other information identifying the date on which the government has put in a position to have them identified. When the violation was immediately challenged the offender, the report must be notified to one of the persons identified under Article 196 within one hundred days the finding of violation. For people living abroad, the notification must be made within three hundred sixty days the finding. "
